The weather has gotten colder and there are a surprising number of trees sporting fall foliage colors, even here in California.
R doesn't seem to mind the chillier weather, especially when it means getting to wear lots of non-matching layers...
Or getting to play in the leaves!
There's a beautiful japanese maple tree outside her bedroom window which catches the evening sun.
And the days are still warm enough for lots of outdoor time.
Including swinging in the swing we put up for her in our backyard!
She's learning all sort of things, like how to drive a tractor:
And organize her toys
And sit in her frog chair
We went on our first pseudo outdoor overnight trip, staying at the Steep Ravine cabins on Mt. Tam just north of SF. The cabins are bare-bones- there are platforms for beds and a wood burning stove but you need to bring everything else. R loved exploring the cabin and didn't seem to mind hiking in her backpack carrier.
And to end with a couple of videos:
Playing her favorite game- peekaboo
And showing off her dance moves
